The District invests heavily in the replacement of water mains, valves, fire hydrants, meters, tanks, wells and other infrastructure as a way to reduce our operating costs and limit emergency shutdowns..  The source of funding is from bi-monthly water bills, so remember, when paying your bill, you are not only paying for the water, but also the infrastructure to get the water to your location too.
